dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce se zabývá systémem a vývojem metodiky vykazování solventnosti, což je nejdůležitější ukazatel finančního zdraví pojišťoven. Důraz je kladen především na stávající zákonnou úpravu solventnosti v České republice, uplatňovanou Dohledem nad pojišťovnictvím. Diplomová práce se dále věnuje charakteristice budoucího systému vykazování solventnosti v rámci Evropské unie - projektu Solventnost II. Tento nový model by měl odstranit nedostatky současného systému a zároveň dostihnout vývoj na finančních trzích. Práce se snaží popsat jeho strukturu, podstatu, odlišnosti od stávajícího systému a identifikovat dopady na činnosti pojišťoven. Poslední část práce je zaměřena na problematiku vykazování solventnosti pojišťoven, jež jsou součástí finančního konglomerátu. Díky neustálému vývoji na finančních trzích dochází k složitému majetkovému propojování finančních institucí, čímž je finanční stabilita pojišťoven obtížněji vystihnutelná a zároveň je ohrožována novými riziky. Tato otázka byla v České republice vyřešena Zákonem o finančních konglomerátech, jehož dopady na subjekty pojistného trhu jsou v této práci analyzovány.cs
dc.description.abstractThis diploma thesis deals with system and progress in methodology of monitoring solvency as the main indicator of the financial stability of insurance companies. The emphasis is mainly put on the currently valid insurance laws in the Czech Republic asserted by the Supervision of the insurance industry. The diploma thesis further engages in the characterization of the future solvency´s monitoring system within the European Union - project Solvency II. This new model should eliminate imperfections of the contemporary system as well as draw level with the progress of financial markets. The thesis tries to describe new model´s structure, essence, differences from the contemporary system and to identify impacts on the activities of insurance companies. The last section of the diploma work is focused at the issue of monitoring solvency in insurance companies which are part of a the financial conglomerate. Permanent progress within financial markets leads to the complicated linking of possessions of financial institutions thereby is more difficult to identify financial stability of insurance companies and they are also threatened by new risks. This problem has been solved in the Czech Republic by the Law of Financial Conglomerates. Impacts of this law on the subjects of insurance market are analysed in the thesis.en
