Abstract
Práce se zabývá životem, postavením a možnostmi muslimek v dnešním islámském světě. V úvodu je pro lepší pochopení současného stavu stručně nastíněno období v Arábii, tj. kolébce islámu, před jeho ná-stupem. Část práce pojednává o prorokovi Muhammadovi, jeho životě - a to jak soukromém tak veřejném, o Koránu, o pilířích islámu i o základ-ních lidských právech, která toto náboženství deklaruje. Konkrétní témata, která se již týkají žen, jsou rodina, oblékání, vzdělávání, práce a vnitřní svět muslimek jako takový. V závěru práce popisuje také situaci muslimek v Evropě i České republice a nabízí možnosti zpracování daného tématu na základní nebo střední škole.
The diploma thesis deals with life, position in a society and oppor-tunities of Muslim women at the contemporary Islamic world. The era in Arabia before the new religion came into existence is described at the be-ginning for better understanding of the present-day situation. The diplo-ma thesis presents basic information about Prophet Muhammad, his per-sonal life as well as public the one, about the Koran, about fundamental duties for Muslims and about basic human rights which are declared by Islam. The particular topics devoted to women are family, clothing, education, employment and private world of Muslim women in general. At the end the diploma thesis characterizes the situation of Muslim women in the Europe and the Czech Republic and offers possible ways to deal with this issue at the primary and secondary schools.
