Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na koncept látkového principu v antické filozofii. Jejím cílem je analyzovat pojetí Démokrita z Abdér, Platóna a Aristotela, kteří jsou nejvýznamnějšími představiteli antické filozofie z hlediska názoru na látkový princip. Dále provést komparaci Platónova a Démokritova přístupu.

Its aim is to analyze the conception of Democritus, Plato and Aristotle, who are the most important representatives of ancient philosophy in terms of the concept of matter.
