dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se věnuje vlivu třech preferenčních obchodních dohod na konkurenceschopnost Evropské unie. Cílem práce je posoudit vliv preferenčních obchodních dohod mezi Jižní Koreou, Kanadou, Japonskem a Evropskou unií na konkurenceschopnost EU. První kapitola vysvětluje historický kontext společné obchodní politiky EU, rozdělení mezinárodních dohod a jejich vyjednávání, charakterizuje tři vybrané dohody a provádí jejich základní obsahovou analýzu. Metodická část definuje pojem konkurenceschopnost, vybírá vhodné indikátory pro měření konkurenceschopnosti a popisuje, jak bude v rámci této práce zkoumán vliv dohod na konkurenceschopnost Evropské unie. Další kapitoly posuzují dopady vybraných dohod na konkurenceschopnost v užším a v širším pojetí a naznačují, že dopady dohod jsou spíše smíšené. V užším pojetí konkurenceschopnosti převládají spíše negativní dopady, v širším pojetí konkurenceschopnosti jsou znát mírné pozitivní vlivy dohod nové generace na konkurenceschopnost EU a jejích členských států. Zejména u dohod s Kanadou a Japonskem je ale potřeba ještě na spolehlivé projevy dopadů několik let počkat.	cs
dc.description.abstract	The thesis focuses on the impact of three preferential trade agreements on the competitiveness of the European Union. The aim of the thesis is to assess the impact of preferential trade agreements between South Korea, Canada, Japan and the European Union on the competitiveness of the EU. The first chapter explains the historical context of the EU's common trade policy, the classification of international agreements and their negotiation, characterises the three selected agreements and conducts their basic content analysis. The methodological section defines the concept of competitiveness, selects appropriate indicators for measuring competitiveness and describes how the impact of the agreements on the competitiveness of the European Union will be examined in the context of this thesis. The following chapters assess the competitiveness impacts of the selected agreements in a narrower and a broader sense and suggest that the impacts of the agreements are rather mixed. In the narrower concept of competitiveness, the negative impacts are more prevalent, while in the broader concept of competitiveness, there are moderate positive effects of the new generation of agreements on the competitiveness of the EU and its Member States. However, especially for the agreements with Canada and Japan, we still need to wait for several years for reliable evidence of impacts.	en
