dc.description.abstract	Trendem poslední doby se stává kreativita, která je považována i za jeden předpoklad konkurenceschopnosti regionu. Právě kreativitou se zabývá tato diplomová práce, konkrétně problematikou aplikace teorie kreativní třídy na vybraný region, kterým je malé území, a to Svazek obcí Jilemnicko. Současně je jejím předmětem představit způsob měření kreativního prostředí a rozvojového potenciálu regionu prostřednictvím Floridova indexu kreativity. Ten se skládá ze tří oblastí - talentu, technologie a tolerance. Teoretická část přibližuje definice kreativity od různých autorů a vysvětluje její význam v regionu. Zabývá se ekonomem Richardem Floridou a jeho knihou The Rise of the Creative Class, ve které jako první formuloval pojem kreativní třída a zpopularizoval jej. Vzhledem k obtížnosti měření kreativity v podmínkách malého regionu Floridovým indexem práce přináší také další alternativní způsoby měření kreativity. Podstatou praktické části práce je sestavení vlastního modelu kreativní třídy a indexu kreativity pro vybraný region a na základě zvolené metodiky je index analyzován a vypočten. Praktická část je zakončena doporučeními pro vývoj v nadcházejících letech. Hlavním cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaká je koncentrace kreativní třídy v malém regionu.	cs
dc.description.abstract	The trend of recent times becomes creativity which is considered to be one of prerequisites for the competitiveness of the region. It is creativity that this thesis deal with, namely the issue of the application of creative class theory to the representative region, which is a small territory, namely the Association of Municipalities of Jilemnicko. At the same time it is intended to present a way of measuring the creative environment and development potential of the region through the Florida´s Creativity Index. It consists of three fields - talent, technology and tolerance. The theoretical part gives an idea of the definition of creativity by various authors and explains its importance in the region. It deals with the economist Richard Floridia and his book The Rise of the Creative Class in which he was the first to word the concept of creative class and popularize it. Due to the difficulty of measuring creativity in the conditions of a small region with the Florida Index, this work also brings other alternative ways of measuring creativity. The essence of the practical part of the work is to build its own creative class model and creativity index for the selected region, and on the bases of the chosen methodology, the index is analyzed and calculated. The practical part is concluded with recommendations for development in the coming years. The main goal of the work was to find out what the concentration of the creative class in a small region is.	en
