Abstract
Tématem této bakalářské práce je problematika současného postavení římských katolíků v České republice z hlediska vztahů se společností a státem a jejich ovlivnění procesem sekularizace. Blíže analyzuje aktuální problémy římských katolíků v oblastech Královéhradeckého a Libereckého kraje. Teoretická část se zabývá obecnou charakteristikou křesťanství a historickým exkurzem do dějin náboženství v českých zemích. Detailněji se zaměřuje na proces sekularizace ve 20. století. Součástí práce je komparativní analýza statistických údajů ze Sčítání lidu, domů a bytů (dále SLDB) 1991, 2001 a 2011, která zkoumá vliv a míru dějinných okolností na religiózní orientaci obyvatel. Druhá (praktická) část této práce je postavena na názorech a životních situacích konkrétních vyznavačů římskokatolické víry. Důležitou částí práce je propojení vlastních zkušeností a znalostí s obecnými poznatky z oblasti náboženství. Předkládaná práce se snaží o zakomponování zjištěných informací do humánně-geografického kontextu. Výsledkem je většinový názor o minoritním postavení římskokatolických Čechů v rámci celé České republiky.
The theme of this thesis is the issue of the current position of Roman Catholics in the Czech Republic in terms of relations with society and the state and their influencing by the process of secularization. It analyses current problems of Roman Catholics in the areas of regions Hradec Kralove and Liberec. The theoretical part deals with general characteristics of Christianity and historical excursion into the history of religion in the Czech lands. It concentrates on the process of secularization in the 20th century in detail. The thesis includes a comparative analysis of statistical data from the Census 1991, 2001 and 2011 to examine the impact and extent of historical circumstances on the religious orientation of the population. The second (practical) part of this thesis is based on the opinions and life-sustaining situations of particular followers of the Roman Catholic faith. The important part is linking their own experiences and knowledge with general knowledge in the field of religion. The thesis aims for incorporation of the acquired information into human-geographic context. The result is the majority opinion of the minority status of the Roman Catholic Czechs throughout the Czech Republic.
