Abstract
Tématem bakalářské práce je protirežimní demonstrace 28. října 1988 u příležitosti sedmdesátého výročí vzniku Československa. Text pojednává o přípravách demonstrace, činnosti nezávislých iniciativ a v neposlední řadě také o reakci policie na chystanou událost. Dále je rozebrán průběh demonstrace a zásah příslušných policejních orgánů. Akce vyvolala rozruch ve společnosti i v zahraničí, a proto část práce je věnována médiím. V závěru je možné se dozvědět o trestním postihu účastníků.
The aim of the bachelor thesis is a demonstration against the regime on 28thOctober 1988 on the occasion of seventy anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia.The text is about preparations of the demonstration, the activity of independent initiatives and at last but not least it is also about the reaction of the police on a planned event. Next, there is described the process of the demonstration and the intervention of related police organs. The event caused a stir in a society also in abroad and that is why the part of the work is related to media. In the end, there is possible to find out more about criminal penalties of participants.
