Abstract
Tato práce se zabývá biologickým průzkumem zatopeného bývalého kamenolomu
v Liberci v Ruprechticích, kde se před více než 100 lety těžila žula. Cílem práce bylo na základě ročního sledování vybraného území vytvořit atlas místních druhů organismů a v rešerši zpracovat téma těžby nerostných surovin a ekologické sukcese v opuštěných lomech, pískovnách či výsypkách. Práce se věnuje ekologické obnově post-těžebních stanovišť, která zahrnuje jak přirozenou, tak i technickou rekultivaci s důrazem na důležitost zachování biodiverzity v rekultivovaných oblastech.
This thesis deals with biological research of the flooded former quarry in Liberec in Ruprechtice, where granite was mined more than 100 years ago. The aim of the thesis was to create an atlas of local species of organisms on the basis of annual monitoring of the selected area and to elaborate the topic of mineral extraction and ecological succession in abandoned quarries, sand pits or dumps. The thesis focuses on ecological restoration of postmining habitats, which includes both natural and technical reclamation with emphasis on the importance of biodiversity conservation in reclaimed areas.
