Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na téma geometrie ve tkanině. Práce mapuje výtvarné umění v oblasti malířství 20. století, kde se geometrie vyskytuje. Popisuje princip tkaní, základních vazeb a vzorů tkanin. Cílem realizační práce je utkat tkaninu inspirovanou mnou vybraným umělcem. Výsledný výrobek je tapisérie, která najde využití v interiéru. Tkanina je utkána na ručním tkalcovském stavu.
The bachelor thesis focuses on the geometry applied on woven fabrics. It also maps fine arts in the 20th century, especially paintings that contain geometrical symbolism. It describes principles of weaving technology, basic weaving bindings and weaving patterns. The main aim of the practical part is to weave a fabric inspired by personally chosen artist. The resulting product is a tapestry, that finds its use in the interior design. This final tapestry is woven on a handloom.
