Abstract
Práce si klade za cíl popsat více než stoletou historii Evangelického kostela ve Varnsdorfu. V první části se práce zabývá vznikem evangelického sboru ve Varnsdorfu, stavbou samotného kostela a prosperujícím obdobím do roku 1945. Druhá část líčí úpadek a devastaci kostela v době komunistického režimu. Poslední část práce mapuje situaci po roce 1989, kdy došlo k předání kostela do majetku města a k postupné záchraně sakrální památky.
The thesis describes more than a century of history of the Evangelical Church in Varnsdorf. The first part of the thesis deals with the origin of the Evangelical congregation in Varnsdorf, the construction of the church itself and the prosperous period until 1945. The second part describes the decline and devastation of the church during the communist regime. The last part of the work describes the situation after 1989, when the church was handed over to the town and the sacral monument was gradually saved.
