Abstract
Nejlepší výsledky dosahuje zachycení zinku a kadmia.
In my bachelor work is studied the possibility of the use of geopolymers to stabilize the contaminated soil, sludge or ash. This may constitute an economically and environmentally acceptable alternative to the imposition of such materials to hazardous waste landfills. The focus of the work lies in examining fixation chromium, nickel, zinc, lead and cadmium, artificially added to clay in geopolymer matrix Baucis H160. Conclusions are made by extracts in the water according to ČSN EN 12457-4 [11] and acetic acid in accordance with the standard TCLP [10]. According to the measured concentrations of heavy metals in leachant, as well as the pH of liquors, are our samples classified into the second-class of leachability for waste. The best results are achieved by capturing zinc and cadmium. Problematic is pH, because it is close to the upper limit set by second-class of leachability. Also problematic was a attempt to work with real sludge. It failed to create a geopolymer from it. For certain types of waste geopolymer matrix Baucis H160 seems as appropriate way to stabilize.
