Abstract
Bakalářská práce se ve své první části zabývá obecnou charakteristikou okresu Mladá Boleslav. Charakteristika je zaměřena především na fyzickogeografickou a sociogeografickou složku okresu, ale také na jeho historii. Další část práce se věnuje územnímu vývoji Mladoboleslavska. Nejprve je sledován územní vývoj Mladoboleslavského kraje a po oficiálním vzniku okresů v roce 1850 již samotného okresu. Výraznější změny administrativních hranic jsou znázorněny na mapách. Třetí část práce se zaměřuje na demografii okresu. V této části je popsán vývoj obyvatelstva, především jeho počet a celkový přírůstek či úbytek, a také struktura obyvatelstva podle vybraných biologických a ekonomických znaků. Poslední část bakalářské práce se zabývá automobilovým průmyslem, převážně Mladoboleslavskou automobilkou Škoda auto, a.s. Nejprve je popsán vznik a vývoj tohoto podniku, a poté jeho vliv na demografii okresu Mladá Boleslav. Tento vliv lze označit jako pozitivní, jelikož s rostoucím počtem zaměstnanců automobilky stoupá i celkový počet obyvatel okresu.
The first part of this bachelor thesis deals with general characteristics of the Mlada Boleslav district. The characteristics mainly focus on physio-geographical and socio-geographical elements of the district but also on its history. The other part of the thesis concerns development of the territory of the Mlada Boleslav district. At first, we follow the development of the Mlada Boleslav region and after official rise of districts in 1850, we focused only on the development of the Mlada Boleslav district. The most important changes are demonstrated on maps. The third part of the thesis aims at demography of the district. In this part, the development of the population is described, mainly the number, the total increase and also decrease. It is also focused on the structure of the population in accordance with biological and economical features. The last part of the bachelor thesis concerns car industry, mainly the car company from Mlada Boleslav, Skoda Auto. At first, the rise and the development of this company is described, after that also its influence on the demography of the Mlada Boleslav district. The influence might be told as positive because the increasing number of employees causes also increasing the total population of the ditrict.
