Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem brexitu a jeho vlivu na konkurenceschopnost Velké Británie. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. Teoretická část obsahuje vysvětlení základních teoretických pojmů týkajících se konkurenceschopnosti. Zároveň jsou v ní představeny způsoby, jakými lze konkurenceschopnost měřit. Následující část se věnuje metodice. V rámci této kapitoly jsou popsány metody, pomocí kterých je dosaženo cíle práce. Třetí částí je část praktická, kde je provedena analýza týkající se vývoje jednotlivých faktorů konkurenceschopnosti před a po odchodu Velké Británie z Evropské unie. V závěru práce jsou zhodnoceny dosažené výsledky, kterých Velká Británie dosáhla během let 2013 až 2021.
This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of Brexit and its impact on the competitiveness of the UK. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part contains an explanation of the basic theoretical concepts related to competitiveness. It also presents how competitiveness can be measured. The following section is devoted to methodology. This section describes the methods used to achieve the objective of the thesis. The third part is the practical part, where an analysis is made concerning the development of the different factors of competitiveness before and after the United Kingdom's exit from the European Union. The thesis concludes with an assessment of the United Kingdom's results from 2013 to 2021.
