Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na dějiny Byzantské říše od jejího vzniku ve 4. století až do dobytí Konstantinopole osmanskými Turky v roce 1453 v učebnicích dějepisu pro střední školy, které se používaly mezi lety 1948-2000. Cílem práce je na základě analýzy a komparace vybraných středoškolských učebnic zkoumat obsah a rozsah tohoto učiva a jeho proměny v době totalitního Československa i v raných letech samostatné České republiky.
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the history of the Byzantine Empire from its creation in the 4th century to the conquest of Constantinople by the Ottoman Turks in 1453 in high school history textbooks used between 1948-2000. The aim of the thesis is to examine the content and scope of this curriculum and its changes during the totalitarian Czechoslovakia and in the early years of the independent Czech Republic, based on the analysis and comparison of selected secondary school textbooks.
