dc.description.abstract	Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá fenoménem klinické smrti či tzv. prožitků blízkosti smrti, které ve svých dílech popisuje Dr. Raymond A. Moody. Jev klinické smrti a její výzkum, který Moody prováděl převážně v 80. a 90. letech minulého století, jsou předmětem kritiky zejména těch, kteří apriori vylučují možnost posmrtného života, který podle Moodyho díla vychází z předpokladu existence transcendentního světa. Moodyho dílo proto nalézá příznivce zejména mezi věřícími z řad křesťanů, muslimů či buddhistů, a ostatními lidmi s kladným přístupem ke spiritualitě. Cílem této práce ovšem není argumentovat ve prospěch či neprospěch existence posmrtného života; autor provede objektivní popis pramenů a vyhledá paralely na těch úrovních, které spolu tematicky souvisejí. Pro účely této práce bude použita zejména Tibetská kniha mrtvých, reprezentující názor z oblasti Tibetu. Druhým pramenem je již zmíněné dílo Dr. Raymonda Moodyho, které je založeno na kvalitativním výzkumu. V této bakalářské práci se tudíž střetává typicky východní dílo s typicky západním, mezi nimiž je více než tisíciletá propast.	cs
dc.description.abstract	This Bachelor thesis deals with a fenomenon called brain death or near-death experiences, which are described by its foremost exponent Dr. Raymond A. Moody. The brain death fenomenon and its research, which Moody was doing especially in 80s and 90s of the 20th century, are often criticised particularly by those whose opinion apriori denies the existence of the after-life, which Moody´s work posits. Therefore, favourers of the Moody´s publications might be found among Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, and others with a positive approach to spiritualness. However, the aim of this Bachelor thesis is not to provide supporting arguments in favour of the trueness of the after-life existence; in this thesis, the author provides the reader with an objective description of the sources and compares them whereever they are thematically similar. For purpose of this Bachelor thesis, the author uses Tibetian book of dead, representing ideas of Tibet. The other source are publications of Dr. Raymond Moody, which are based on a qualitative research. In this bachelor thesis, therefore, a typically western and eastern sources meet each other. Between those there is more than a thousand-year-long gap.	en
