Abstract
Diplomová práce se zabývá náboženským životem v jičínském okrese v období
normalizace. V práci jsou obsaženy postupné změny ve společnosti, především v kultuře a
vzdělávání, které normalizace přinesla. Značná část práce je věnována římskokatolické
církvi, životu v několika farnostech a osobám pod dohledem Státní bezpečnosti. Zde je
popisován na jednotlivých příkladech vztah mezi věřícími, duchovními a režimem. Dále je
pozornost zaměřena i na nekatolické církve a na náboženskou společnost Svědků
Jehovových.
The topic of this diploma thesis is religious life in the Jičín district during the time of normalization. The thesis contains a description of the gradual changes in society, mainly in culture and education, which were brought by the normalization. A significant part of the thesis is dedicated to the Roman-Catholic Church, the life in several parishes and to the people who were monitored by State Security. Individual examples are used to describe the relationship between the religious people, spiritual people and the regime. Another topic of focus is also the non-Catholic Church and the religious society of the Jehovah Witnesses.
