Abstract
Tématem diplomové práce je temporalita materiálů a celkově hmoty. Ta je v rámci práce podrobena komplexnímu uvažování a uměleckému výzkumu skrze konkrétní materiál, který autorovi problematiku temporality či časovosti zosobňuje. Tímto materiálem je vodní sklo, s nímž autor pracoval již v minulosti. Specifické vlastnosti materiálu ve vztahu k proměnlivosti v čase jsou zásadní, nemělo by se však jednat o pouhý materiálový výzkum. Práce by měla být někde na pomezí mezi vědeckým výzkumem a volným uměleckým dílem. Pro umělecké dílo jako takové by měl být prvek experimentu stěžejní - práce s tekutostí materiálu, vrstvení materiálu, blednutí. Průběh práce může evokovat jak umělecký experiment, tak jisté modelové situace při geologickém zkoumání vrstev strat atd. V jádru těchto experimentů stojí konfrontace různých temporalit (materiálové, lidské) a sledování jistých entropických jevů, které nelze vidět, ale lze je myslet na základě viděného. Výstupem práce bude jakási laboratoř nebo prostředí - umělecká instalace, akumulace jednotlivých modelů, přístupů, pokusů Důležitým aspektem instalace by měl být i způsob reakce jednotlivých objektů na prostor, který abstraktním způsobem ztvárňují a s nímž se konfrontují.
The topic of the thesis is temporality of materials and overall matter. This is subjected to a complex reflection and artistic research through a specific material that personifies the issue of temporality for the author. This material is Sodium silicate, or waterglass, with which the author has worked in the past. The specific properties of the material in relation to change in time are essential, but it should not be a mere material research. The work should find itself somewhere between scientific research and a work of art. For the artwork itself, the element of experimentation should be central - working with the fluidity of the material, layering the material, fading. The course of the work can evoke both an artistic experiment and certain model situations in the geological investigation of strata layers, etc. At the heart of these experiments is the confrontation of different temporalities (material, human) and the observation of certain entropic phenomena that cannot be seen but can be thought of on the basis of what is seen. The final presentation will be a kind of laboratory or environment - an art installation, an accumulation of individual models, approaches, experiments... An important aspect of the installation should be the way the individual objects react to the space they represent and confront in an abstract way.
