Abstract
Šluknovský výběžek je jednou z lokalit České republiky, které se v geografické literatuře označují jako periferní. Z hlediska míry periferiality vychází nejhůře jeho západní část, která je vymezena katastry obcí Mikulášovice, Dolní Poustevna, Lipová, Velký Šenov a další. Za poslední dvě dekády došlo v této části Šluknovského výběžku k poměrně významným změnám například v oblasti dopravní obslužnosti. Zároveň dochází k sociálnímu i ekonomickému přibližování lokality směrem k Národnímu parku České Švýcarsko, oblast objevují turisté. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak život a práci v Západní části Šluknovského výběžku vnímají sami jeho obyvatelé, podnikatelé i studenti napříč věkovými kategoriemi a vzděláním. Na základě dotazníkového šetření vytvořím stručnou SWOT analýzu a budu ji krátce konfrontovat se zjištěním geografických studií.
The Šluknov promontory is one of the localities in the Czech Republic that is referred as peripheral in the geographical literature. In terms of the degree of peripherality, its western part is the worst, which is defined by the cadastres of the municipalities of Mikulášovice, Dolní Poustevna, Lipová, Velký Šenov and others.Over the last two decades, there have been relatively significant changes in this part of the Šluknov region, for example in the area of transportation services. At the same time, there is a social and economic approach to the locality towards the Czech Switzerland National Park, and the area is being discovered by tourists.The aim of the thesis is to find out how life and work in the Western part of the Šluknov region are perceived by its inhabitants, entrepreneurs and students across various age categories and education. Based on a questionnaire survey, I will create a brief SWOT analysis and will briefly confront it with the findings of geographical studies.
