dc.description.abstractThe Bachelor Paper has covered the issue of ergotherapy and exploiting it for persons with a mental handicap in the institutional care. The Paper has consisted of the prime chapters; the first one comprises the theoretical part which describes, using the processing and presentation of vocational sources, the characteristics of the persons with mental handicap and approaches to such people throughout the history and the present times, ergotherapy, its history and possibilities of its application and institutional care, its history and the contemporary mission of social services. The practical part identified, using questionnaires, the attitudes of 53 workers to the use of ergotherapy in the facilities with the all-year-round stay for clients, and its impact upon the improvement of the life of the clients. The results showed a lack of qualified ergotherapeuts in the facilities of social care within the Děčín area, and the insufficient awareness of some workers of the field of ergotherapy. In terms of the covered issues, the contemplation of the direct care workers over the possibilities of the use of ergotherapy in the common life of the clients, possibilities of further education and cooperation with experts, can be considered to be the benefit of the Paper.en
dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou ergoterapie a jejím využitím u osob s mentálním postižením v ústavní péči. Práci tvořily dvě stěžejní kapitoly. Jednalo se o část teoretickou, která pomocí zpracování a prezentace odborných zdrojů popisovala charakteristiku osob s mentálním postižením a přístupy k těmto lidem v historii a současnosti, ergoterapii, její historii a možnosti jejího uplatnění a ústavní péči, její historii a současné poslání sociálních služeb. Praktická část zjišťovala pomocí dotazníků postoje 53 pracovníků k využívání ergoterapie v zařízeních s celoročním pobytem pro klienty a její vliv na zkvalitnění života klientů. Výsledky ukazovaly na nedostatek kvalifikovaných ergoterapeutů v zařízeních sociální péče na Děčínsku a nedostatečnou informovanost některých pracovníků o oboru ergoterapie. Za přínos práce vzhledem k řešené problematice bylo možné považovat zamyšlení pracovníků přímé péče nad možnostmi využívání ergoterapie v běžném životě klientů, možnostmi dalšího vzdělávání a spolupráce s odborníky.cs
