Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zpracováním ovčí vlny jako českého lokálního materiálu, pro který spousta chovatelů ovcí již nemá další využití. V teoretické části popisuje vybrané technologické možnosti jejího zpracování, dále pak sleduje tendence práce s ovčí vlnou v módě a umění. Výstupem praktické části je oděvní kolekce s využitím autorské netkané textilie a autorské pleteniny z automatického pletacího stroje Shima Seiki.
The processing of sheep's row wool, a native Czech resource that many sheep producers have no further use for, is the subject of this bachelor's thesis. It covers selected technological options for processing it in the theoretical section before examining current fashion and artistic uses for sheep's wool. A fashion collection made with the author's non-woven fabrics and knitted material from the Shima Seiki automatic knitting machine is the result of the practical component.
