Abstract
Po konci 2. světové války začaly na území tehdejšího Československa dva kontinuální procesy - odsun původního německy mluvícího obyvatelstva převážně z pohraničních oblastí a jeho nahrazení obyvatelstvem slovanského původu. Tato diplomová práce chce konkretizovat především proces osídlení a za pomocí analýzy, komparace a syntézy pramenů a odborné literatury ho přiblížit na příkladu města Liberec a jeho obyvatelích.
After the end of the Second World War, two continuous processes began in the territory of the former Czechoslovakia - the removal of the original German-speaking population, mainly from the border areas, and their replacement by a population of Slavic origin. This thesis wants to make the process of settlement more concrete and with the help of analysis, comparison and synthesis of sources and professional literature bring it closer using the example of the city of Liberec and its inhabitants.
