Abstract
Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na udržitelnost v odpadovém hospodářství, konkrétně na čtyři zařízení pro energetické využití odpadu působící na území České republiky. Cílem práce byla analýza vybraného odvětví a komparace vybraných firem z pohledu udržitelnosti. Vzhledem k velikosti některých vybraných společností, byly v daných případech řešeny pouze konkrétní divize. Rešerše se zabývá problematikou udržitelnosti a udržitelného rozvoje. Dále rozebírá hierarchii pro nakládání s odpady a její dopad na řešené odvětví. Praktická část identifikuje stav odpadového hospodářství v České republice za uplynulých pět let, analyzuje energetické využití jako vhodný způsob pro nakládání s odpady a komparuje česká zařízení pro energetické využití odpadu z pohledu udržitelnosti. Na základě komparace je přístup k udržitelnosti jednotlivých zařízení vyhodnocen a jsou navrhnuta doporučení pro zlepšení stávající situace.
The bachelor thesis focuses on sustainability of waste management, especially on four waste-to-energy plants operating in the Czech Republic. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze chosen industry and to compare selected companies based on their sustainability. Due to the size of some selected companies, the author focused only on their divisions in the given cases. The theoretical part describes the concept of sustainability and sustainable development. It further focuses on the hierarchy of waste management and its impact on the waste industry. The practical part identifies the state of czech waste management over the past five years, analyzes the usage of waste-to-energy as a suitable method for waste management and compares sustainability of czech waste-to-energy plants. Based on the comparison, individual facilities are evaluated and recommendations for improving the current situation are given.
