Abstract
Předmětem této bakalářské práce je analýza dopadů zavedení eura v České republice na konkrétním podniku. V širší souvislosti se zabývá problematikou evropské měnové a hospodářské integrace, vznikem a fungováním jednotné evropské měny a teorií měnových kurzů. První kapitola je úvodem do problematiky Evropské unie a evropské měnové integrace. Druhá kapitola se zabývá vznikem a fungováním jednotné evropské měny a případnými výhodami či nevýhodami této měny. Další kapitola pojednává o teorii měnových kurzů, kurzových režimech, kurzovém riziku a dopadech s ním souvisejících. Jedna z kapitol je věnována analýze dopadů zavedení eura v České republice. Poslední kapitola práce je zaměřena na konkrétní společnost PRECIOSA, a.s., která je stručně představena, a pak jsou zde popsány postupy při implementaci eura. V závěru jsou hodnoceny předpokládané dopady a výhody na výsledky hospodaření a fungování celé společnosti.
The subject of this bachelor thesis is an analysis of the impact of the introduction of the euro in the Czech Republic on a particular company. In a broader context, it deals with the issue of European monetary and economic integration, the emergence and functioning of the single European currency and the theory of exchange rates. The first chapter is an introduction to the issues of the European Union and European monetary integration. The second chapter deals with the emergence and functioning of the single European currency and the possible advantages or disadvantages of that currency. The next chapter deals with the theory of exchange rates, exchange rate regimes and exchange rate risk and the impacts associated with it. One of the chapters is devoted to analysing the impact of the introduction of the euro in the Czech Republic. The last chapter of the work focuses on a specific company, i.e. PRECIOSA, a.s., which is briefly presented, and then the procedures for the implementation of the euro are described here. Finally, the expected impacts and benefits on the economic performance and functioning of the whole company are assessed.
