dc.description.abstractThe aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze and to summarize terms of payment and guarantees which are used in international trade. This thesis is focused on terms of payment appointed in the contract and their importance for the business partners. The second chapter is about the Letter of Credit as the one of the most often used payment instruments in international trade. This part also contains the division of these instruments and characterization of advantages and disadvantages for businessmen. There are also described bank guarantees, their significance and terminology connected with them and talks about practical usage of the Letter of Credit in particular examples and compares the bank charges of three competitive banks. This chapter also symbolizes the progress of these instruments over the past 5 years. Because the author had an option to have an intership at Trade Finance department in ČSOB, a. s., she writes about ways of working with L/C which are used by this bank.en
dc.description.abstractPředmětem práce je rozbor a shrnutí platebních a zajišťovacích instrumentů, které jsou využívány v mezinárodním obchodě. Práce je zaměřena na platební podmínky stanovené v kupní smlouvě a na jejich důležitost pro účastníky obchodu. Zabývá se dokumentárním akreditivem, jako jedním z nejčastěji užívaných platebních instrumentů v zahraničním obchodě, jeho dělením a charakteristikou výhod a nevýhod, které pro obchodníky představuje. Dále popisuje bankovní záruky, jejich význam a odbornou terminologii se zárukami spojenou. Další část se věnuje praktickému využití dokumentárního akreditivu v konkrétních případech a porovnává bankovní výlohy u tří konkurenčních bank. Rovněž znázorňuje vývoj těchto instrumentů za posledních pět let. Jelikož měla autorka možnost absolvovat řízenou praxi na oddělení Trade Finance v Československé obchodní bance, a. s., uvádí v této práci způsoby zpracování dokumentárních akreditivů, které tato banka používá.cs
