dc.description.abstractThe bachelor work has addressed the position of the Romany nimority to the question of its integration to the majority society. It comes out from a current view of the society on the Romany minority and an approach of the Romanies living in the Czech Republic themselves. It concerns the approach to employment, education, communication and Romany coexistence in the majority society, not the view on Romanies as a minority abusing the state social benefits. It should bring substantial and authentic knowledge in the level and structures of mutual relations of Romany and non-Romany residents. The objective of the work is the Most housing estate, Chánov, and work of Romany associations in Most area. The work consists in two fundamental areas. The theoretical area, devoted to a definition of fundamental terms, consulted the special literature, the Romany history in our territory, migration, way of life, living, crafts, hillbilly music, literature and fine literature, Romany children education, Romany employment and the present. It has also touched a social exclusion of the Romanies in the Czech republic. In the practical part the positions of the public and the Romanies to the disputed topic (problem) was being found out in a non-standardized questionnaire. The results showed that most of the Romanies wanted to integrate to the majority society. They also want to cooperate with the Romany associations and are interested in their activities. They would welcome more tolerance towards their nationality and better informedness of the majority society on the Romanies, which may simplify a common coexistence in many perspectives. The public, more than half of it, believed that more coaction with the minority would become an asset for them too. The finding that the Romany residents from the Chánov estate would like to change their living conditions and the situation itself may be considered as the utmost assets, with respect to the solved problem.en
dc.description.abstractResumé: Bakalářská práce se zabývala postojem romské menšiny k otázce její integrace do majoritní společnosti. Vycházela ze současného pohledu majoritní společnosti na romskou menšinu a postojem samotných Romů žijících v České republice. Dále pak přístupem k problematice zaměstnávání, vzdělávání, komunikace a soužití Romů v majoritní společnosti. Názorem společnosti pohlížející na Romy jako na menšinu zneužívající sociálních výhod státu. A měla přinést také podstatné a spolehlivé znalosti o úrovni a strukturovanosti vzájemných vztahů romských a neromských občanů. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo mostecké sídliště Chánov a práce romských sdružení na Mostecku. Práci tvořili dvě stěžejní oblasti. Jednalo se o část teoretickou, která byla věnována výkladu základních pojmů, nahlédla do odborné literatury, historie Romů na našem území, migrace, způsobu života, bydlení, řemesla, lidová hudba, literatura a slovesnost, vzdělávání romských dětí, zaměstnávání Romů až současností. Ale také sociálním vyloučením Romů v České republice. Praktická část byla zaměřena na Mostecké sídliště Chánov, a romská sdružení na Mostecku. V praktické části se pomocí nestandardizovaného dotazníku zjišťovaly postoje veřejnosti a Romů k projednávanému tématu (problematice). Výsledky ukazovaly, že Romové se ve většině integrovat do majoritní společnosti chtějí. Chtějí také spolupracovat s romskými sdruženími a zajímá je též jejich činnost. Uvítali by větší toleranci vůči své národnosti a větší informovanost majoritní společnosti o Romech, která by společné soužití v mnoha ohledech ulehčila. Veřejnost se z více jak poloviny domnívala, že větší spoluprací z řad menšinového obyvatelstva, by bylo pro ně samotné přínosem. Za největší přínos práce vzhledem k řešené problematice bylo možné považovat zjištění, že romské obyvatelstvo ze sídliště Chánov by ráda změnila své životní podmínky a samotnou situaci jako takovou.cs
