dc.description.abstractThe first part of diploma thesis focuses on a problem of the financial analysis used as an instrument for an examination of an economic situation and a financial health of a company. It stresses its importance for a decision making. Diploma thesis explains the meaning and utilization of a financial analysis by the enterpreneurial persons, it acquiants with users of the financial analysis, methods and the classification of ratios. The practical part of the thesis makes clear the reasons of the merger of large glass and fashion jewellery firms and describes the process of the merger. Then follows the characterization of the companies taking part in merger and the implementation of the financial analysis before and during the merger by means of ratios, Altman´s model and index IN. Subsequently are interpreted the results of the financial analysis of the company in the year 2005 and judged the economic situation of a join stock company Jablonex Group one year after the finalization of the merger and the economic outlook to the future.en
dc.description.abstractPrvní část diplomové práce se zaměřuje na finanční analýzu jako nástroj potřebný pro posuzování hospodářské situace a finančního zdraví podniku. Zdůrazňuje její důležitost při rozhodování. Vysvětluje význam a využití finanční analýzy podnikatelskými subjekty, seznamuje nás s uživateli finanční analýzy, metodami a tříděním ukazatelů finanční analýzy. Praktická část práce objasňuje důvody sloučení sklářských a bižuterních podniků a popisuje průběh fúze. Dále jsou charakterizovány společnosti účastnící se fúze a provedení finanční analýzy před a v průběhu fúze pomocí rozdílových a poměrových ukazatelů, Altmanova modelu a indexu IN. Následně jsou interpretovány výsledky finanční analýzy společnosti v roce 2005 a posouzena hospodářská situace podniku Jablonex Group a. s. jeden rok po ukončení fúze a její výhled do budoucnosti.cs
