Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na cenzurní a autocenzurní strategie při vydávání
básnického díla Karla Havlíčka před rokem 1918. Práce je založena na komparativní analýze raných edic Havlíčkových básní a sleduje jejich vzájemné odchylky (výpustky, formulační úpravy) i rozdíly oproti vydání definitivnímu. Rekonstruován je repertoár cenzurně a autocenzurně motivovaných zásahů vydavatelů jednotlivých edic s ohledem na dobový politický a společenský kontext. Práce metodologicky rozvádí studii Václava Vaňka Duch Havlíčkův a jiné problémy. O vydávání klasického autora.
The bachelor's thesis focuses on censorship and self-censorship strategies in the publication of Karel Havlíček's poetic works before 1918. It is based on a comparative analysis of early editions of Havlíček's poems, tracing their mutual differences (omissions, reformulations) as well as deviations from the final edition. The thesis reconstructs the repertoire of censorship- and self-censorship-driven interventions made by the editors of individual editions, taking into account the political and social context of the time. Methodologically, the thesis builds upon Václav Vaněk's study The Ghost of Havlíček and Other Problems: On the Publication of a Classical Author.
