Abstract
Diplomová práce se zabývá sociálním a profesním začleňování dospělých balbutiků. Cílem práce je charakterizovat vliv balbuites na život člověka a zjistit, jak balbuties ovlivňuje navazování sociálních vztahů, výběr profese a zda je balbuties překážkou v profesním postupu. V teoretické části je balbuties věnována pozornost především z hlediska klasifikace, příčin a příznaků. Dále jsou popisovány aspekty dospělosti, náročné životní situace a komunikace ve vztahu k balbuties. Empirická část práce přináší data, která byla získána kvalitativně orientovaným výzkumem prostřednictvím strukturovaných rozhovorů. Vyhodnocením získaných dat bylo zjišťováno, do jaké míry jsou dospělí balbutici svojí řečovou vadou limitováni v oblastech navazování sociálních kontaktů, výběru profese a do jaké míry je balbuties překážkou v kariérním postupu. V závěrečné části diplomové práce jsou navržena opatření ve vztahu ke zkoumanému jevu, seznam zdrojů a příloha s přepisy rozhovorů.
The thesis deals with the social and professional integration of adult stutterers. The aim of the paper is to characterize the influence stuttering has on the quality of human life and explore how stuttering affects building social relationships, career choices and whether stuttering can represent an obstacle in career progression. The theoretical part focuses on stuttering in terms of classification, causes and symptoms. Moreover, aspects of adulthood, challenging life situations and communication in relation to stuttering are dealt with ibid. The practical part of the thesis provides data which were obtained from qualitatively oriented research using the method of structured interviews. Evaluation of the obtained data served to find out to what extent are adult stutterers limited by their speech impediment in the areas of social networking, career choices and to what extent the stuttering hinders their career advancement. In the final part of the thesis, measures are proposed in relation to the researched phenomenon, and there are a list of resources and an annex containing transcripts of interviews.
