Abstract
Přímé zahraniční investice ovlivňují rozvoj v regionech, do kterých míří. Vlády států se snaží zahraniční investory přilákat pomocí investičních pobídek, které mají zajistit zvýhodněné podmínky při vstupu na domácí trh. Ozývají se však i kritické hlasy, které upozorňují na možné riziko narušení přirozeného vývoje tržního prostředí. Mezi nejvýznamnější zahraniční obchodní partnery České republiky patří investoři z Francie. Společné vztahy obou zemí mají hluboké historické kořeny a ekonomická spolupráce je v posledních letech na vzestupu. Mezi nejvýznamnější francouzské investice v posledních letech patří příchod společnosti TPCA do Kolína. Společnost působí v automobilovém průmyslu. Příchod zahraničního investora vytváří nové příležitosti i pro místní společnosti a vytváří nové dodavatelsko-odběratelské vztahy v regionu. Liberecký kraj byl zvolen pro zhodnocení vlivu přímých zahraničních investic na region. Aplikace regionální politiky v kraji se řídí mimo jiné dokumentem Program rozvoje Libereckého kraje 2014-2020. Cílem je vyrovnat regionální rozdíly mezi jednotlivými oblastmi kraje a zvýšit jeho konkurenceschopnost. Konkrétní příklad francouzské investice v Libereckém kraji je společnost Decathlon, která se zabývá prodejem sportovního vybavení.
Foreign direct investment has effect on regional development of regions they are targeting. Governments try to attract foreign investors by means of investment incentives that are supposed to guarantee better conditions for foreign investors entering home market. However, some critics highlight the potential risk of disturbing the natural development of the market environment. One of the most important foreign partners of the Czech Republic are investors from France. The relations of both countries have long history and economic cooperation has been rising in recent years. The TPCA´s coming on the Czech market is one of the most important French investments in recent years. The company operates in automotive industry. The presence of a new foreign investor creates new opportunities for local companies and also creates new supply and customer relations in the region. The Liberec Region was selected to assess the impact of foreign direct investment on the region. The application of regional policy in the Region is, besides other things, governed by the Liberec Region Development Program 2014-2020. Its aim is to balance regional differences between regions and to increase its competitiveness. A specific example of the French investment in the Liberec Region is the company Decathlon, which sells sports equipment.
