Abstract
Tématem této bakalářské práce je specifikovat kritické argumenty vznesené proti funkcionalistickému stylu myšlení v rámci analytické filosofie mysli. Cílem práce je klasifikace, analýza a interpretace základních funkcionalistických tezí a jejich kritiky, přičemž základní myšlenka funkcionalismu tvrdí, že myšlení obecně lze definovat výlučně pomocí jeho funkce. Protiargumenty jsou rozebrány na četných příkladech myšlenkových experimentů, které dokazují logické problémy a nesrovnalosti, k nimž aplikace funkcionalistické koncepce může vést.
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to specify critical arguments raised against the functionalist view on thinking within the analytic philosophy of mind. The purpose of this specification is to classify, analyze and to interpret a main idea of the functionalist theories and their critique. The core idea of functionalism is that thinking in general can be defined exclusively by its functional role. Counterarguments are discussed in numerous examples of thought experiments that demonstrate the logical problems and inconsistencies that the~application of the functionalist concept may lead to.
