Abstract
Cílem této diplomové práce je shrnout základní poznatky potřebné pro přípravu investičních projektů a aplikovat je na konkrétním případě, protože správné investiční rozhodování může společnosti zajistit růst a prosperitu. Práce pojednává o významu investiční činnosti pro podnik, uvažuje zdroje financování investic, přibližuje různé druhy investičních rizik a představuje postup hodnocení efektivnosti investic, který je uplatněn při hodnocení plánovaného projektu společnosti ABB s. r. o., Elektro - Praga. Součástí případové studie je vymezení peněžních toků spojených s realizací této investice (stanovení kapitálového výdaje na investici a odhad peněžních příjmů) a výpočet jednotlivých ukazatelů hodnocení efektivnosti pomocí nejvhodnějších metod, jako je například doba návratnosti, čistá současná hodnota, index rentability nebo vnitřní výnosové procento. Cílem těchto propočtů je určit, zda se společnosti vyplatí do daného investičního projektu investovat či nikoli, a na základě toho vyvodit závěry a doporučení. Součástí práce je i jednoduchý program ve formátu Microsoft Excel, který obsahuje všechny potřebné údaje k posouzení efektivnosti investice, a na základě zadaných vstupních dat vyhodnotí ukazatele efektivnosti. Tento model by měl společnosti ABB posloužit při rozhodování o přijetí plánované investice.
The purpose of this thesis is to draw up basic knowledges necessary for preparation of the investment projects and to apply it on the example because the process of determining which assets to acquire could ensure the company´s growht and prosperity. The thesis deals with an importance of investment activity for a company, debate the financial sources of investments and the sorts of investment risks and introduce the methods of capital project analysis, which is applied to the evaluation of the planned project in the company ABB s. r. o., Elektro - Praga. As a part of a case study is a definition of a cash flow connected with a realization of this investment ( assessment of the capital outlay on the investment and estimation of the cash inflow) and calculation single indexes of capital project analysis by the help of the most suitable methods, such as for example payback period analysis, net present value, profitability index or the internal rate of return. These techniques set profitability criteria that investment must satisfy in order to be accepted and draw conclusions and recommendation. As a part of the thesis is also simple programme in format Microsoft Excel, which contains all the necessary data to the examination of the capital project analysis and on the basis of engaged data it analyse indexes of efficiention. This model should be used by the company ABB by making decidions about acceptance of planned project.
