dc.description.abstractPráce se zabývá dopady dvou významných hospodářských krizí na finanční situaci společnosti Volkswagen AG. Teoretická část vymezuje principy hospodářských cyklů a přístupy finanční analýzy. Metodická část představuje most mezi teoretickými poznatky a analytickou částí práce, přičemž zároveň poskytuje strukturovaný návod k případné replikaci celého postupu. Praktická neboli analytická část využívá poměrové ukazatele a benchmarking k posouzení změn ve výkonnosti podniku. Součástí analýzy je také přehled přijatých opatření, která měla podniku pomoci zvládnout krizová období, a poukázání na rozdíly mezi fázemi ekonomického cyklu.cs
dc.description.abstractThe thesis examines the impact of two major economic crises on the financial situation of Volkswagen AG. The theoretical part defines the principles of business cycles and approaches of financial analysis. The methodological part provides a bridge between the theoretical knowledge and the analytical part of the thesis, while at the same time providing a structured guide to the possible replication of the whole procedure. The practical or analytical part uses relative indicators and benchmarking to assess changes in company performance. The analysis also includes an overview of the measures taken to help the company cope with the crisis periods and a highlighting of the differences between the phases of the economic cycle.en
