Abstract
The main goal of the bachelor's thesis is to determine and subsequently compare the level of physical activity of younger girls during basketball training. The measurement involved 15 girls aged 11 to 12 playing for the BSK TJ Jičín club. Physical activity was monitored using the ActiGraph GT9X accelerometer. The measurement also included assessing the players' body composition (height, weight, and BMI). The results indicate that the players were most active during the training focused on individual activities. It is important to note that the values were very similar, and the differences were minimal. In all three training sessions, the players were above 77 % of the load of medium and high physical activity. The daily physical activity recommendations set by the WHO were met during all training sessions. It was demonstrated that all training sessions contribute to improving aerobic fitness.
