Abstract
Tato práce analyzuje vliv apokalyptické události na různorodé sociální struktury a z toho vyplývající změny v společnosti spolu se způsoby, jak se jedinci a komunity z děl Cesta a Já, legenda (v knižní i filmové podobě) pokoušejí o její znovuzaložení a vybudování. Cílem je analyzovat tyto změny a prozatímní stavy společnosti vyobrazené v jednotlivých dílech poté, co udeří apokalyptická událost, která přinutí lidstvo k formování nových sociálních jednotek, zároveň postižené několika překážkami.
Práce bude vypracovaná metodou komparativní analýzy Cesty a Já, legenda se zvláštním důrazem na reprezentaci těchto nových podmínek společnosti a její vnitřní rozdělení.
This thesis analyses the influence of an apocalyptic event on various social structures and the subsequent change in society, and the ways in which surviving individuals and communities attempt to reconstruct and rebuild their societies in The Road and I Am Legend (both the books and their film adaptations). The aim is to analyse the changes and the respective states of the societies portrayed in these works after an apocalyptic event that forces humankind into forming new social units, affected by several obstacles. The method used will be a comparative analysis of The Road and I Am Legend with special emphasis on representations of the new condition of society and its inner division.
