Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem softwarových aplikací pro organizace
v ziskovém sektoru. Hlavním cílem práce je na základě teoretických poznatků
a případové studie vytvořit ucelený pohled na to, jak v současné době vypadá proces vývoje aplikací v prostředí ziskového sektoru. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na popis vývoje softwaru a životního cyklu softwaru, přehled používaných technologií, specifika vývoje pro ziskové organizace a moderní přístupy, jako jsou agilní metodiky, DevOps nebo využití generativní umělé inteligence. Práce zohledňuje rozdíly mezi webovými, mobilními a desktopovými aplikacemi, přičemž se dále zaměřuje primárně na oblast webových řešení. Praktická část je zpracována formou případové studie konkrétní společnosti v oblasti logistiky. V rámci studie byly navrženy a implementovány dva nové moduly webové aplikace. Výsledky studie potvrzují, že nové funkcionality přispěly ke zvýšení provozní efektivity a konkurenceschopnosti společnosti. Práce zároveň dokládá důležitost propojení teoretických poznatků s praktickou realizací softwarových projektů.
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the development of software applications for organizations in the for-profit sector. The main objective of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current application development process within the for-profit sector, based on theoretical knowledge and a case study. The theoretical part of the thesis describes software development and the software life cycle, provides an overview of commonly used technologies, addresses the specifics of development for for-profit organizations, and discusses modern approaches such as agile methodologies, DevOps, and the use of generative artificial intelligence. The thesis also considers the differences between web, mobile, and desktop applications, with a primary focus on the area of web solutions. The practical part is presented in the form of a case study of a specific company operating in the logistics sector. As part of the study, two new modules of a web application were designed and implemented. The results of the study confirm that the new functionalities contributed to increased operational efficiency and competitiveness of the company. Furthermore, the thesis demonstrates the importance of connecting theoretical knowledge with the practical implementation of software projects.
