Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá překladem frázových sloves do češtiny v první knize série Stmívání od Stephenie Meyerové. Práce bude zkoumat správnost překladu analyzovaných frázových sloves z hlediska jejich kontextové přesnosti, dále různé překladatelské strategie a další relevantní kritéria. Celkovým cílem práce bude zjistit, zda se určitá překladatelská strategie uplatňuje přednostně nebo převážně a jaké jsou možné důvody takové převahy. Posuzována bude také správnost frázových sloves a tam, kde je překlad nepřesný nebo jinak neplatný, budou nabídnuty a zdůvodněny lepší překlady.
This bachelor's thesis deals with the translation of phrasal verbs into Czech in the first book of the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. The thesis will examine the correctness of the translation of the phrasal verbs analysed in the sense of their contextual accuracy, as well as various translation strategies, and other relevant criteria. The overall aim of the thesis will be to determine whether a particular translation strategy is applied preferentially or predominantly, and what possible reasons there are for such dominance. The correctness of the phrasal verbs will also be assessed, and where the translation is inaccurate or otherwise invalid, better translations will be offered and justified.
