dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zabývá komparativní analýzou rozdílných prvků v dílech Night Thoughts od britského autora Edwarda Younga a Noches lúgubres od španělského autora José Cadalsa. Cílem práce je určit, v jakých konkrétních aspektech se tyto dvě literární práce liší. Analýza je rozdělena do několika částí, které se věnují kontextu 18. století, životu a dílu obou autorů, samostatnému rozboru děl, a nakonec i srovnání hlavních postav z hlediska konceptu romantického hrdiny. Metoda práce spočívá v detailní textové analýze vybraných oblastí obou děl. Důraz je také kladen na to, jak každé z děl přispělo k vývoji literatury jako takové a poté zejména ve španělské literatuře, kde díla obou autorů jsou považována za stěžejní pro vznik ojedinělého španělského literárního žánru "leyendas". Předpoklad byl, že obě díla budou mít hodně společného, ale taky budou obsahovat nějaké odlišnosti. Analýza toto tvrzení potvrdila, ale k tomu prokázala, že odlišnosti dokonce velmi převažují nad společnými prvky.cs
dc.description.abstractThis bachelor's thesis focuses on a comparative analysis of distinctive features in the works Night Thoughts by the British author Edward Young and Noches lúgubres by the Spanish author José Cadalso. The aim of the thesis is to determine in what specific aspects these two literary works differ. The analysis is divided into several parts, which deal with the context of the 18th century, the life and work of both authors, a separate analysis of the works, and finally a comparison of the main characters in terms of the concept of the Romantic hero. The method of the thesis consists of a detailed textual analysis of selected areas of both works. The thesis emphasises the contribution of both works to the development of literature in general and then to Spanish literature in particular, claiming that both works are considered pivotal in the emergence of the unique Spanish literary genre "leyendas". The assumption was that the two works would have much in common but would also contain some differences. The analysis confirmed this claim, however, it was revealed that the differences even greatly predominated the similarities.en
