Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou a interpretací románu Cizinec hledá byt Egona Hostovského (1947). Jsou zkoumány projevy existencialismu v tomto díle a naplnění žánru psychologického románu. Těžiště práce spočívá v charakteristice a interpretaci základních naratologických kategorií knihy. Pozornost je soustředěna také na jazykovou výstavbu textu. Analýzu románu završuje pokus o jeho interpretaci. Cíl práce představuje poskytnout ucelený obraz tohoto díla Egona Hostovského, zasadit ho do kontextu autorovy tvorby a do dobového kontextu české literatury.
This bachelor thesis deals with analysing and interpreting the novel The Stranger is Looking for a Flat by Egon Hostovský (1947). It examines the existentialist aspects of this work and the fulfilment of the psychological novel genre. The work focuses on the characterisation and interpretation of basic narratological categories of the book as well as language elements. The analysis of the novel culminates in an attempt at its interpretation. The thesis aims to provide a comprehensive picture of this work by Egon Hostovský, to place it in the context of the author's oeuvre and within the historical context of Czech literature.
