Abstract
Cílem této bakalářské práce je vyhodnotit dopady zavedení, existence a zrušení produkčních kvót na české cukrovarnictví. V první části jsou teoreticky vymezeny základní principy fungování a regulace trhu. Dále je popsáno fungování produkčních kvót, společné zemědělské politiky, celní ochrany a dotací. V praktické části je analyzováno období těsně před vstupem a po vstupu do Evropské unie. Je zde popsán historický vývoj českého cukrovarnictví od jeho počátků. Dochází k charakteristice právních aspektů výroby cukru, jenž byly značně ovlivňovány regulací trhu s cukrem. Podstatná část práce se týká analýzy a komparace jednotlivých údajů zpracovatelské kapacity s důrazem na roky 2003-2017.
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the impacts of the introduction, existence and abolition of production quotas on the Czech sugar industry. The basic principles of market functioning and its regulation are theoretically defined in the first part. The production quotas functioning, Common Agricultural Policy, customs protection and subsidies description follows. The practical part analyzes the period just before and after joining the European Union. It describes the historical development of the Czech sugar industry since its beginnings. It is followed by the characteristic of legal aspects of sugar production, which have been considerably influenced by the regulation of the sugar market. The main part of the thesis deals with the analysis and comparison of the individual processing capacity data with an emphasis on 2003-2017.
