Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na specifika účetní závěrky subjektů poskytující pojišťovací a zajišťovací služby. Konkrétně na komerční pojišťovnu, zajišťovnu a makléřskou společnost. Jednotlivé kapitoly v teoretické části bakalářské práce jsou zaměřeny na účetní závěrku, její specifika v oblasti pojišťovnictví a zajišťovnictví, obsah, zveřejnění účetní závěrky, účetní výkazy pojišťoven a charakteristiku jednotlivých specifických položek rozvahy těchto subjektů. Největší pozornost je věnována investicím a technickým rezervám neboli volným finančním prostředkům a fondům. Analýza vybraných ukazatelů společností Kooperativa, a.s. Vienna Insurance Group, VIG RE zajišťovna, a.s. a makléřské společnosti RESPECT, a.s je provedena z veřejně dostupných informací zveřejněných ve výročních zprávách za roky 2013 až 2017.
The bachelor thesis focuses on the specifics of the financial reporting of subjects providing insurance and reinsurance services. Specifically the commercial insurance company, reinsurance company and brokerage company. The individual chapters of the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis are focused on the financial statements, its specifics in insurance and reinsurance, content, the publication of the financial statements, the financial statements of insurance companies and the characteristics of the specific items of the balance sheet of these types of subject. Attention is paid to investments and technical provisions. The analysis of selected indicators of Kooperativa, a.s. Vienna Insurance Group, VIG RE Reinsurance, a.s. and the brokerage company RESPECT, a.s. is made by publicly available information published in the annual reports for the years 2013 to 2017.
