Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje především na postavení žen ve společnosti v době francouzského osvícenství. V úvodu popisuje, jak se postavení žen v průběhu historie měnilo. Tato práce se dále zabývá feministickým diskursem u předních francouzských myslitelů, kteří podporovali či kritizovali ženské hnutí. Jsou zde zmíněny i další osobnosti, které výrazně přispěly ke zlepšení postavení žen ve společnosti. Důležitým úkolem práce je nejen ukázat, jak společnost na ženy nahlížela, ale také jak ženy usilovaly o rovná práva či legalizaci volebního práva pro ženy.
The bachelors thesis focuses mainly on the ideological origins of feminism during the French Enlightenment. In the introduction describes how to changed status of women during history. This thesis also deals with feminist discourse among leading French thinkers who supported or criticized the women's movement. There are mentioned other personalities who have contributed significantly to improving the status of women in society. An important task of the work is not only to show how society perceived women, but also how women strived for equal rights and the legalization of suffrage for women.
