dc.description.abstractBachelor thesis studies the development of railways in the Liberec region from construction of the first line till the present. The document gives the history of major lines in the Liberec region, present status, and intentions and vision of the Department of Transport Regional Authority of Liberec Region in the future. The second key point is application of geographic information systems in the transportation. The thesis contains the software tools of geographic information systems that can be used to analyze the development and current state of the railway network. These tools are used and combined in the methods, designed to showcase the character and quality of the railway network of the Liberec Regionen
dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce zkoumá vývoj železniční sítě na území Libereckého kraje od doby vzniku první tratě, po současnost. Dokument uvádí historii vzniku hlavních tratí na Liberecku, současný stav, i záměry a vize Odboru dopravy Krajského úřadu Libereckého kraje do budoucnosti. Druhým stěžejním bodem práce je aplikace geografických informačních systémů v oblasti dopravy. V práci jsou uvedeny softwarové nástroje geografických informačních systémů, pomocí kterých lze analyzovat vývoj železniční sítě i její současný stav. Tyto nástroje jsou užívány a kombinovány v metodách, navržených za účelem prezentace charakteru a kvality železniční sítě Libereckého kraje.cs
