Abstract
V této diplomové práci je provedeno hodnocení výkonnosti bankovní instituce formou finanční analýzy. Hodnocení je prováděno za účelem odhalení dopadů krize, kterou zapříčinila pandemie covid-19 spolu s následným vypuknutím války na Ukrajině. Výsledky finanční analýzy sledované bankovní instituce jsou zde porovnány v rámci mezinárodního prostředí, za účelem posouzení vlivu české ekonomiky na bankovní sektor. Vybraná bankovní instituce je zde hodnocena spolu s dalšími bankami, které spadají pod stejnou bankovní skupinu, což poskytuje přehled o situaci v rámci jednotlivých finančních trhů v okolních státech. Výsledkem práce je stanovení výkonnosti sledované instituce a českého bankovního sektoru. Na základě získaných poznatků jsou dále odvozena doporučení, která jsou zaměřena na zmírnění dopadů krize a podporu výkonnosti bankovní instituce. Veškerá kritéria pro vyhodnocení výkonnosti zmíněných subjektů jsou stanovena na základě poznatků z literární rešerše a data pro výzkum byla získána z veřejně dostupných zdrojů.
In this master's thesis, an assessment of the performance of a banking institution is carried out in the form of a financial analysis. The assessment is carried out to reveal the impact of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent outbreak of war in Ukraine. The results of the financial analysis of the observed banking institution are compared here within the international environment to assess the influence of the Czech economy on the banking sector. The selected banking institution is evaluated here, together with other banks that fall under the same banking group and provides an overview of the situation within the individual financial markets in the surrounding countries. The result of the work is the determination of the performance of the observed institution and the Czech banking sector. Based on the knowledge gained, recommendations are further derived, which are aimed at mitigating the effects of the crisis and supporting the performance of the banking institution. All criteria for evaluating the performance of the mentioned institutions are established based on findings from literature research, and the data for the research was obtained from publicly available sources.
