Abstract
Předmětem bakalářské práce je případová studie podnikatelské rodiny Seidl,
prostřednictvím níž je interpretována proměna bižuterního průmyslu v Jablonci nad Nisou v období od třicátých do konce čtyřicátých let 20. století. Na vývoji rodiny Seidl jsou sledovány klíčové hospodářské, politické a demografické změny, které ovlivnily strukturu a fungování tohoto odvětví. Pozornost je věnována proměnám výrobních a organizačních struktur, jež prošly vývojem od rozdrobené domácké výroby přes období hospodářské krize a válečné reorganizace až po poválečné znárodnění a vznik národních podniků. Výzkum propojuje makrostrukturální přístup s mikrohistorickou perspektivou a soustředí se na konkrétní dopady těchto procesů na výrobní činnost, obchodní strategii a majetkové poměry rodiny Seidl. Hlavní jádro práce tvoří analýza archivních pramenů, která je doplněna o dosavadní poznatky z odborné literatury.
The bachelor's thesis presents a case study of the entrepreneurial Seidl family, used to interpret the transformation of the jewellery industry in Jablonec nad Nisou from the 1930s to the late 1940s. The development of the Seidl family serves as a lens through which key economic, political, and demographic changes affecting the structure and functioning of this industry are examined. Particular attention is given to shifts in production and organisational structures, from decentralised cottage-based manufacturing through the economic crisis and wartime reorganisation to post-war nationalisation and the establishment of state-owned enterprises. The research integrates a macrostructural approach with a microhistorical perspective, focusing specifically on how these broader processes influenced the production activities, business strategies, and property relations of the Seidl family. The core of the thesis is based on the analysis of archival sources, supplemented by findings from existing academic literature.
