Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem a proměnami území zvané Bokoušské údolí, které leží na pomezí dnešních okresů Trutnov a Náchod. Práce kombinuje historický výzkum, orální historii, terénní průzkum a analýzu písemných, kartografických i fotodokumentačních materiálů. V první části se stručně věnuje současné podobě místa s důrazem na historii pionýrské táborové základny a dobrovolnou iniciativu obnovení kaple. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na období 18. století a působení hraběte Františka Antonína Šporka, přičemž sleduje kulturní i lovecké využití tzv. Hubertova lesa a údolí. Třetí část je věnována zaniklé německé osadě Bokausch s důrazem na její historický vývoj, demografické a majetkové proměny od 18. století po druhou polovinu 20. století. Závěrečná kapitola přináší výsledky terénního průzkumu s důrazem na lokalizaci a dokumentaci významných objektů, které jsou převážně lokalizovány na základě písemných pramenů.
This bachelor's thesis explores the development and transformation of the area known as the Bokouš Valley, located on the border of today's Trutnov and Náchod districts. The work combines historical research, oral history, field surveys, and the analysis of written, cartographic, and photographic materials. The first part briefly addresses the current state of the site, with an emphasis on the history of the Pioneer camp base and a volunteer initiative to restore the chapel. The second chapter focuses on the 18th century and the activities of Count František Antonín Špork, examining both the cultural and hunting use of the so-called Hubert Forest and Valley. The third part is dedicated to the now-defunct German settlement of Bokausch, emphasizing its historical development, demographic changes, and property transformations from the 18th century to the second half of the 20th century. The final chapter presents the results of the field survey, focusing on the localization and documentation of significant sites, which are mainly identified based on written sources.
