dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu zobrazení dobytí Ameriky ve známém díle O zemích indijských pustošení a vylidňování zpráva nejstručnější (Brevísima relación de la destrucción de las Indias, 1552) španělského dominikána Bartolomého de las Casas. Bartolomé de las Casas je jednou z nejvýraznějších osobností historie dobývání Nového světa v 16. století a bývá nazýván obráncem indiánů. V práci bude pojednáno o průběhu dobývání Ameriky a jeho historických souvislostech. Další část práce bude věnována Casasově životu a dílu, popisu vzniku jeho nejslavnějšího spisu a rozboru motivů, které ho k jeho sepsání vedly. Hlavní část práce bude zaměřena na analýzu zobrazení dobytí Ameriky v Casasově zprávě, a to také v kontrastu s jinými díly tohoto období pojednávajícími o Novém světě.	cs
dc.description.abstract	This work focuses on the analysis of the depiction of the conquest of America in the well-known work A Short Account of the Destruction of the Indies (Brevísima relación de la destrucción de las Indias, 1552) by the Spanish Dominican Bartolomé de las Casas. Bartolomé de las Casas is one of the most prominent figures in the history of the conquest of the New World in the 16th century and is often called the defender of the Indians. The thesis will discuss the course of the conquest of America and its historical context. The next part of the work will be devoted to Casas' origin of his most famous work and an analysis of the motives that led him to write it. The main part of the work will focus on the analysis of the depiction of the conquest of America in the Casas' Short Account, also in contrast to other works of this period of time discussing the New World.	en
