Abstract
Výsledky byly posouzeny dle standardů a porovnány s publikovanými výsledky z jiných výzkumů.
The main aim of my bachelor work was the assessment of the level of flexibility of school children aged between 11-15 years in the Liberec Region. In theoretical part, there is the characteristic of flexibility, its testing, test batteries and definition of age. In practical part, there is the description of carried testing of flexibility by chosen test in chosen primary schools. The results were evaluated according to standards and compared with published results coming from other testing and research. This analysis revealed the insufficient flexibility of lower limbs and bottom part of back, whereas the flexibility of upper limbs and spine can be considered good. The conclusion of this research suggests the recommendation of including more stretching activities aimed at the lower part of pupils' body into P.E. lessons.
