dc.description.abstractResumeThe topic of the thesis was the issue of seniors who use residential social services. The aim was to identify the reasons that lead the elderly to use residential social services. To verify if activation affects the adaptation process of the users at homes for the elderly. To learn how seniors spend their free time, and whether they use activation programs developed by the staff of the facility.The work was divided into two parts. The theoretical part using the compilation and presentation of expert sources to clarify concepts related to the topic, the aging process, aging, adaptation, and activation of seniors. This section also describes the social and psychological problems of aging, social services and their regulation, contribution to care, adjustment process, activation activities and leisure activities in each particular social facilities. The practical part dealt with the reasons for the use of institutional care, the actors in the process of adaptation and leisure facilities in the home for the elderly. Using interviews with the elderly we get a closer view to what helped them to adapt to new environments and how they spend their free time. The results showed that the assumption was confirmed, and resulted in the conclusion that the most common reason for using social services is dependent on the care from others, and that activation activities seniors perceive as a positive factor in the adaptation process.en
dc.description.abstractTématem bakalářské práce byla problematika seniorů, kteří využívají  pobytové sociální služby.Cílem práce bylo zjistit důvody, které seniory vedou k využití pobytové sociální služby. Ověřit, zda aktivizace ovlivňuje adaptační proces uživatelů domova pro seniory. Zjistit, jak senioři tráví volný čas a zda-li využívají aktivizační programy připravené pracovníky zařízení.Práce byla rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část, která pomocí zpracování a prezentace odborných zdrojů objasnila pojmy spojené s danou problematikou, proces stárnutí, stáří, adaptace a aktivizace seniorů. V této části byla také popsána sociálně psychologická problematika stáří, sociální služby a jejich právní úprava, příspěvek na péči, adaptační proces, aktivizační činnosti a možnosti trávení volného času v konkrétním sociálním zařízení. Praktická část se zabývala důvody pro využití ústavní péče, činiteli v procesu adaptace a možnostmi trávení volného času v domově pro seniory. Pomocí rozhovorů se seniory přibližuje, co jim pomáhalo při adaptaci na nové prostředí a jak tráví svůj volný čas. Výsledky ukázaly, že se předpoklady potvrdily, a vyústily v závěr, že nejčastějším důvodem pro využití sociální služby je závislost seniora na péči jiné fyzické osoby, a že aktivizační činnosti vnímají senioři jako pozitivní činitele v adaptačním procesu.cs
