dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývá projevem politických a geopolitických aspektů v olympijských hrách s důrazem na prostorové souvislosti. Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na politickou situaci olympijských her v roce 1980 a 1984, kdy mezi sebou v době studené války soupeřily dva mocenské bloky. Dále analyzuje bojkot západních států, v čele se Spojenými státy americkými, během olympijských her v roce 1980 v Moskvě a bojkot zemí východního bloku, v čele se Sovětským svazem, během olympijských her v roce 1984 v Los Angeles. Pro tento výzkum byly použity názory novinářů a expertů z denního tisku a odborná literatura. Bakalářská práce obsahuje tři mapy zobrazující informace o olympijských hrách, které byly vytvořeny prostřednictvím Geografického informačního systému (GIS).cs
dc.description.abstractThe bachelor thesis deals with the manifestation of political and geopolitical aspects in the Olympic Games with emphasis on spatial contexts. It focuses on the political situation of the Olympic Games in 1980 and 1984, when the Western and the Eastern Blocs competed with each other during the Cold War. It analyses the boycott of the countries of the Western Bloc, with the leading position of the USA, during the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 and the boycott of the countries of the Eastern Bloc, with the leading position of the Soviet Union during the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 1984. The main sources of this bachelor thesis are opinions of journalists and specialists published in daily press and reference books. The bachelor thesis includes three maps depicting information about the Olympic Games, which were made by means of a Geographic Information System (GIS).en
