Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na povídku Boženy Němcové Čtyry doby. Nejprve se věnuje kontextům jejího vzniku, následně shrnuje publikační historii povídky a zabývá se její recepcí. Povídka už od svého vzniku představuje svým charakterem výzvu k porozumění, tudíž práce poskytuje historický přehled interpretací této prózy v jednotlivých literárních přístupech v průběhu 20. století až do současnosti. Předložená práce sumarizuje proměny přístupů k této povídce v české literární vědě a komentuje možnosti její interpretace. Součástí práce je také pokus o nalezení dalšího možného způsobu interpretace významu povídky, který je založený na rozboru čtyřsvazkové korespondence Boženy Němcové.
The bachelor thesis focuses on the short story "Čtyry doby" by Božena Němcová. First it examines the contexts of its creation, then summarizes the publication history of the short story and deals with its reception. Since its creation, the story has presented a challenge to understanding, therefore the thesis provides a historical interpretation overview of this prose in various literary approaches throughout the 20th century to the present. The presented work summarizes the changes in approaches to this short story in Czech literary science and it comments on the possibilities of its interpretation. The work also includes an attempt to find another possible way of interpreting the meaning of the story, based on the analysis of the four-volume correspondence of Božena Němcová.
